After nine years, we are extremely excited that the work on the Georgette Tea Room has started. The members of the Bethany Seventh-day Adventist Church under the leadership of their visionary pastor, Dr. Donald Burden, stepped out on faith to have the roof replaced. This is the first step of many steps with the support of interested sponsors to change the narrative of the Historical Georgette Tea Room from a eye sore to a diamond in the rough. Stay tune for the best is yet to come. Join us as a partner in restoring a rich heritage in Brownsville. Go to our website georgettetearoom.com for more information.
